Alcova — Baggio Military Hospital — Stecca S14

A shared presentation exploring terracotta, mineral composites, and elemental form.

Two distinct practices brought into dialogue through material, weight, and gesture — where objects move between sculpture, function, and spatial presence.

Set within the raw architecture of the former military hospital, the works respond to the site through texture, density, and silence. Clay, lime, and composite matter holding traces of process, time, and transformation.

The Essence of Fire, unique exhibition/event hosted at the @fonderia_versiliese in Pietrasanta, curated in collaboration with the @esedraproject

The event showcased a selection of our works, emphasizing the material’s role as a fundamental element, inspiring reflection on the layers and processes involved in working with metals. Some pieces emerged from spontaneous metal fusions, celebrating the beauty of unpredictability, while others utilized bronze casting waste, offering a novel perspective on the sensory contrasts of metal.

Last month we organized with @esedraproject The Essence of Fire, an exclusive exhibition/event held at the renowned @fonderia_versiliese in Pietrasanta. The event showcased a selection of our casted metalworks in a solo temporary exhibition.

Guests were treated to a private tour of the foundry’s impressive industrial spaces, where they delved into its rich history and observed the craftsmanship of the lost wax casting process.
The event ended with an intimate dinner in the foundry’s newest space, a 19th-century building, where chef Anna Onesti curated a menu inspired by the foundry and TIPSTUDIO’s practice.
