A couple recently celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary. I asked them👇🏽

"What has Marriage taught you and what do you wish you knew before you got married"

Here is what they said 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️

Marriage has taught us invaluable lessons about love, patience, and compromise. We've learned that communication is the cornerstone of our relationship; being open and honest with each other has helped us navigate through challenges and celebrate our successes.

One of the most important lessons we've learned is the significance of maintaining our individuality while being a couple. It's essential to support each other's personal growth and interests, as this enriches our relationship.

We also wish we had known the importance of managing expectations. Early on, we had a romanticized view of marriage, believing it would be smooth sailing. In reality, it requires effort and understanding. We wish we had understood that disagreements are normal and can be constructive if approached with love and respect.

Ultimately, our decade together has been filled with laughter, tears, and countless memories. We are grateful for the love we share and look forward to many more years of growth together.
