If I had to pick three words to describe this past year, they would be Grace, Trust, and Healing.

Looking back, I’ve had to have a lot of honest conversations with myself about myself—who I want to become, where I am in the process today, and the steps I need to take to get where I’m going. These haven’t just been questions I ask occasionally, but daily reminders and motivations to do better and show up for myself.

It honestly wasn’t always fun, but it has been incredibly rewarding to take the time to learn more about who I am beyond what I already knew. I’ve deepened my connection with God and feel much stronger in my faith walk. Learning to serve through every season, I’ve been blessed with people who showed up when I felt like I was drowning. I committed to therapy and began unpacking things I had put on the back burner for far too long. I’m learning to trust myself. I’m learning to give God my yes—even when I’m scared.

I’m learning to love the Izaiha way, while also setting clear boundaries and communicating properly when I’m uncomfortable.

I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has covered me in prayer, and I’m grateful that I now have the strength to trust myself. I’m excited for what 2026 will bring, and even more excited to see what God has in store for not only me but us all! May this be a year of breakthrough and victory!

Happy New Year y’all ❤️🫂🎉

We’re so happy to welcome the librarians of the Bridgeport Public Schools to our store today! Last year we received a donation of over a thousand new books from one of our Fairfield University customers, who received them from Lee & Low Books, so we wanted to pass on the love to the students in our community.

We pray that the students are enriched through each page turned and we pray a blessing upon those educators who have it in their hearts to teach them.

A special shout out to DeeJae (Madison School) who is Kinfolk and coordinated this event with us.

Thanks Lee and Low, thanks Fairfield U, and thanks to DeeJae and the lovely librarians who came out today!
