@eshedfreo is turning 30 this September... and what a journey it’s been! 🙌🏼

Built in 1929 as a working cargo shed on Victoria Quay, E Shed certainly has an interesting story. In 1995, the entire structure was physically relocated and rotated 180 degrees to its current home on Peter Hughes Drive - a $6 million transformation that turned a historic wharf shed into WA’s only waterfront market. Today, right in the heart of Victoria Quay, a stone’s throw from Fremantle Railway Station, E Shed Markets welcomes thousands of locals and visitors through its doors with a massive licensed alfresco terrace looking out over Fremantle’s working harbour. Browse vintage and retro clothing, antiques, collectables, gifts, souvenirs and more, grab a bite from the food court, and groove to live music every weekend.

To celebrate 30 years, E Shed Markets is running a storewide anniversary sale for the entire month of September – a little thank you to every patron who has walked through the doors over the years. The celebrations ramp up on 20 September, with entertainment throughout the day and a limited number of picnic blankets being given away. Be sure to head down, join in the celebrations and wish E Shed a very happy 30th!

A few of my Friday favourites at Second Chance to Shine 💚

From colourful furniture and upcycled homewares to funny dog signs, handmade bandanas—and, of course, the very important cappuccino and muffin break! ☕🧁

But my favourite sound has to be the Square sale chime… cue Karina’s happy dance! 😂 Every sale genuinely means so much to a small business like mine.

Swipe through for a little look around, then tell me—which one is your favourite?

Come and explore E Shed Markets Fremantle this weekend. There are 50+ stores, a food court, paid parking and it’s pet friendly too! 🐾

📍 Peter Hughes Drive, Fremantle
🕘 Open Friday–Sunday, 9am–5pm

🌿 HANDMADE RUSTIC SIGNS – PERFECTLY IMPERFECT! 🌿

One of my favourite things to create at Second Chance to Shine is my range of handmade rustic signs. Every one is made using upcycled timber, old frames and repurposed materials, which means no two are ever quite the same.

You’ll find all sorts in the shop — funny and quirky sayings, coffee and home signs, retirement and grandparent signs plus dog & cat leash holders and signs with hooks. 🐾☕🏡

They’re rustic, they have character, and sometimes they have a few bumps and imperfections — but that’s exactly how I like them. Perfectly Imperfect. 💚

If you’re looking for a unique little gift (or something fun for yourself!), pop in and have a browse. There are always different designs available.

📍 Second Chance to Shine – E Shed Markets, Fremantle
Peter Hughes Drive, Fremantle WA 6160
🕘 Friday–Sunday | 9am–5pm
🐾 Pet friendly | 🚗 Paid parking available

Come in, say hi and see what treasures you can find! 🌿
