This was a trip planned early but it was just so hard happening due to constrains on the number of participants. Its a 4d3n Trans expedition and it was just so hard getting people on board. However, it did happen with the the magical 8 hikers. Its a hard hike, and I want to write a lot but I am lazy. I will make it as simple as possible.

This was overall possible because I had a very strong and good line up. Their dedication and discpline was commendable. Our guide / Chef @shaiful_sharipudin and Co-Guide Rushdan was another reason we finished the hike safely and sound. They are the reason we managed to reach peak and had our belly full throughout the hike.
.
Hiking in Benum is not easy because you have very less information about it. Many does this but barely a lot of story about it. No idea why, but its just that way. This is one of the highest 11 peaks in Peninsular Malaysia. My journey here was different , mystical and strong.

Our hike faced trails with a lot of fallen trees and branches due to storms a few days before our hike. Then, 2 days of our ascend was effectively under rain and bone chilling cold. My bag was 22kg due to limited water supply one second and third day, I could feel my tail bone stretching. With my height and bag weight, it was already a challenge to navigate through these tress; what more hikes. Its easier said that, the first 2 days was all ascend and the next 2 days were all descend. Its crazy!

Lata Dinding – Kenaboi Forest
10km hike.
Tough? Absolutely.
Worth it? Even more so.
Every step, every drop of sweat led to this breathtaking gem hidden deep in the forest.
Nature really knows how to reward effort.

Gunung Nuang via Janda Baik, Janda Baik (1493m) : Summit.

Two years ago, I promised myself I will never come back to this peak again ever. This was the mountain that changed my mentality and mind set on long hikes. I was having knee pain at that time and the hike was challenging. It took me 12 hours to complete the hike with 1 hour rest.
.
Again, this time I went to same place via different route with 10kg load. For my surprise I survived the 10 hours hike. It was hard but I did not got trashed like 2 years ago from Pangsoon. Its time for me to increase my load to 15kg and effectively to 20kg.
.
Blessed to have the hike with a lot of fun and good people around me this time. The peak was happenig with unlimited food and drinks. Met a lot of wonderful people in the hike and may we meet again next time.

Kuang Si Falls is known for its milky turquoise waters about 29 kilometers south of Luang Prabang. There are multiple pools scattered throughout the area; the main pool has rope swings, and an overhanging tree limb from which you can jump into the water.
