Winning doesn’t always look like winning. It doesn’t always look like walking away with an award. It doesn’t always look like applause and accolades. Sometimes it’s much more subtle.

I’m so grateful for every step of this journey, and I’m thankful you’re here.

Looking for a Young Adult dragon story that you can let your teens read without worrying about content? I’ve got you. This coming of age story brings the vibes of the How to Train Your Dragon movies, a cozy village atmosphere, immersive culture, and characters that will steal your heart. But don’t take my word for it! Grab a copy today! Kindle and paperback available now!

About 🐉House of Dragons🐉

Blurb: Finngavin Ivarsson was born into the lowly House of Sheep, and all he wants on his sixteenth birthday is to hear the song the sheep sing, to live the peaceful and quiet life of a shepherd. But a birthmark on his leg makes his fellow villagers wonder if he’s cursed, and they question if the lad will face exile. More than exile—the consequence for not hearing the song of his House—Finn fears being separated from his best friend by the social hierarchy of the other three Houses. With everything at stake, Finn must face the dawn of his coming of age. Nothing can prepare him for what comes next.

House of Dragons is book one in my YA fantasy series, The Emberstone Trilogy. This story weaves Christian themes and scripture into an intricate fantasy world and explores the complexities of growing up in a fun, winding adventure of political intrigue, animal companions and strong friendships, with a dash of sweet romance and dragons, of course!

Hi! I’m Kathryn Jordan. Do you want fantasy books without complicated magic systems, impossible-to-pronouce names, or explicit content? Want stories that sweep you into another world but also feed your soul?

Welcome! You’re in the right place!

These books are extremely different and each good!

📚 What's a book someone recommended that you loved and can't stop thinking about?!

There's always room for me to add another page to my book of recommendations 😂
