Really had an awesome weekend, was fun starting with little squirt @esmespurling, fun clobbering her over the head with a pugil stick and then got to spend the rest of the day with my gorgeous amazing girl watching dog stars and taking her to her first blaze match, nice little 3-1 win, then after an early sunday shift, another blaze match and win but was extra special being the first one i’ve managed to get mum to in over a year, my heart is filled with love and happiness

I had the pleasure of doing some colourful eyeshadow for the presenter and some light media makeup for her guest! Thank you to @esmespurling for organising this collaboration, and thank you to Millie (The producer) for your constant communication and support. 💗
It was a pleasure to work with such a talented group of individuals.

Studio Interview with Industry Guest: BECKY CARRIER //

As part of our first year Creative Film, Television and Digital Media Production students’ Multi Camera module, they got to interview the Director of the Northampton Film Festival @nnfilmfestival Becky Carrier!

The students worked together as two production teams to create their own style, format of interview and record in our industry standard Tv Studio on campus.

Special thanks to Becky for taking part - our students learnt a lot of practical skills today through the process of research, production and deployment.

Student Futures Week in action 🎬✨
On Friday, our Creative Film, Television and Digital Media Production students headed to the BSC Expo — one of the UK’s leading film and TV production shows. @bsc_expo

Hosted at Battersea Evolution, the BSC Expo brings together industry professionals, leading manufacturers, emerging tech and working cinematographers under one roof. From camera and lighting demos to conversations about workflow, virtual production and on-set innovation — this was hands-on industry insight beyond the classroom.

Trips like this are about more than equipment. They’re about exposure to professional standards, networking opportunities, and understanding how the industry is evolving in real time.

A huge part of Student Futures Week is connecting learning to careers — and this was exactly that.
Thank you to everyone who spoke with our students and shared advice, insight and inspiration.
Industry ready. Future focused. 🎥
