Her performances lie at the intersection of dark ambient, drone and post-industrial music, characterised by a sombre and introspective aesthetic. She composes using her own sound sources — electric guitar, field recordings, cassettes, a sampler and effects pedals. Her compositions explore themes related to cycles, grief, empathy, break-ups and feminism, adopting an approach in which listening becomes a space for introspection as much as for self-affirmation. ❀ @ak.stakis.d1sc : Analogue Ruckus. A little look back at our cold noodle cooking session at Platzspitzpark 🍜 achoo was invited to cook for the Pakghor Social Kitchen project, and we invited Hsuan Lee @hsuan.lee_ to choose what we would make together: Taiwanese cold noodles. Connected by video call between Geneva and Zurich, Hsuan guided us through the recipe step by step, while friends gradually joined the cooking on both sides, and in the end, we all sat down to enjoy the meal together. A huge thank you to Mosaik Association @mosaikzueri for inviting us and making this encounter possible, to Britto Art Trust @britto_arts_trust and Mirjam Varadinis @mvaartagency for bringing the Pakghor Social Kitchen project to Zurich, to The Zurich Archipelago organization and volunteer team @kioer for all the support, and to all the friends who stopped by, picked up a knife, washed vegetables, stirred sauces, carried things, helped us cook, and eventually shared the meal with us. ♡ If you’d like to know more about the story behind the dish, our conversation with Hsuan, and the full cold noodle recipe, keep an eye on Mosaik Association’s social media and website — more will be shared there soon!
