It’s not just singing and dropping music—it’s meetings, rehearsals, late nights, setbacks, growth, and a lot of behind-the-scenes work. Big love to the team that helped bring this moment to life 💕 🎤 @musample_ – thank you for being such a solid advisor 🪩 @sndaviii – thank you for creative directing the show and connecting me with two amazing dancers @talaya_lee @naeliidae 👗 @tspotstyles – styled me to perfection 💅 @nailsbydarre + glam by @looksbylamour – had me feeling like that girl 🎶 The band?? August 4. 2015 I posted my first Facebook flyer for @cscleaningservice_ - after many ups and downs in life and many learned lessons I decided to bet on myself. That first year of entrepreneurship I worked 2 jobs - 1 full time and 1 part time - and cleaned after work and on the weekends. I had no idea what path was ahead of me - but I knew I wanted to be the pilot of my own success. 1 year later - I landed my first large commercial contract - said bye bye to my jobs and bet on myself 100%! I am writing this today as an 8 YEAR Entrepreneurial success story! 8 years of learning - 8 years of growing - 8 years of falling and getting back up - 8 years of NEVER GIVING UP! Now as the Co-Owner of JCD Investment Group, Founder of JCD Academy & Founder of JCD Travel Services - I never thought cleaning would evolve into THIS. An empire and family owned business that we will be able to pass down and we are just getting started. I feel like I’ve JUST scratched the surface honestly.. I’m thankful to still be standing and be able to solely fund my life’s ventures and day to day all of business ideas! Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years 🙏🏾 And to the aspiring entrepreneur- you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take! Bet on you and reach for the stars! 📸 Essence Photography and Design Imani A. Starting my cleaning service in 2015 taught me the how to be a business owner and succeed… Cleaning brought me to Airbnb in 2019 and Airbnb cleaning helped me scale my cleaning service tremendously fast! Becoming an Airbnb host made it possible for me to continue my entrepreneurship journey - learning how to leverage our short term rental units kept us with positive cash flow since 2020…. Becoming an Airbnb coach and mentor has helped me not only guide hundreds to success in the short term rental area - but also helped me learn more about other markets and cities and how profitable or not profitable they may be… This summer I will be relaunching my online Airbnb course - launching an Airbnb cleaning course as well as a business coaching course… I plan to keep the costs low for the courses as I want everyone possible to have access to these resources This is year 30 and I’m leaving it all on the floor 🔥💪🏾 #womanentrepreneur #womenempowerment #entrepreneurship #womeninbusiness #realestate #airbnbsuperhost #shorttermrental #expert #professional #cleaningservices

Boss Babe coming through! Welcome to Formula Skin Lab! I am so incredibly proud and excited to welcome you to my skincare suite! For years, I imagined what I would do if I had my own studio. The services I would do, the products I would work with, the vision I wanted to come to life, the colors I would choose…And as much as I wanted to go out on my own after years of working for someone else, I let fear and doubt prevent me from moving forward. For some reason, this year, for the first time I allowed myself to move past dreaming and into making an action plan. I sat back and thought about how I could realistically make the business that was in my head become a real thing. It has been a process and it’s a bit scary at times but I have enjoyed every single minute of it. From filing for my business license to the massive amounts of laundry I am now doing 😂, selecting all of my products to picking out my logo design, it has truly been a learning experience and FUN! I am so happy in my little suite! I love taking care of my clients (y’all are the real MVPs 🙌🏼) in a way that I truly feel is me giving my best! (Continued in comments)
