Tonight is the end of an Era. I'm saddened I didn't get to make a pilgrimage to go see one last show, or even play one last show, but I'll forever be grateful for @tommybfld and the opportunities he repeatedly gave me at both the masquerade and at @crowbarybor . I could only find 2 photos thanks to being in the middle of a move here in Pittsburgh, but I have memories of that place that will never leave me. I owe a lot of who I am to the Tampa Bay music scene, and whether it was metal, hip hop, punk, hard-core, or Ska, I was always there with bells on to play my part in it however I could. I miss you all dearly, and I wish a fond Farewell to the home of local music in Tampa Bay for the last 20 years. So Long, Crowbar, I will mourn for the music that won't be shared on your stage.

Just how impressive was @EssentialMachine at the @greenbeacongallery's Alt-Fest on May 9 and at the @MillvaleMusic Fest on May 16? Absolutely phenomenal! For those who might not be aware, Essential Machine is a remarkable indie rock trio hailing from Pittsburgh. The band features the incredible talents of RJ Dietrich on lead vocals and guitar, Karen Dietrich on drums, and their talented son Robert Dietrich, who plays keys, bass synth, and also provides vocals.
