Good morning.

I’ve loved being a healthcare practitioner throughout the years. Helping people has given my life purpose, and I’m grateful for that.

But looking back, one thing I would have done differently is protect more of my time.

We get so caught up in being busy and building a successful practice that we forget to ask: What is that success giving us time to enjoy?

The family moments. The milestones. The ordinary days with people we love. Those moments don’t wait for our schedules to clear.

That’s why creating Velocity HP Coaching means so much to me. I get to help practitioners build systems that support excellent care, stronger compensation, and more control over their time.

You can love your work and still want room to live. You can serve your patients without feeling forced to fill every hour of your day.

Buying back your time means having choices—being present for the moments that matter and building the life you want intentionally.

Ten years from now, I want to look back and know I helped fellow practitioners avoid burnout, make it home for those special moments, and enjoy the lives they worked so hard to create.

That’s the impact I want Velocity HP Coaching to have.

Time is priceless. Our definition of success should honor that.

Saturday didn’t start exactly as we planned. A very humid Deka had other plans for us. Not our best race but we know what we need to fix by December. Should be enough to get us to Texas, but now the work begins.

That said, it’s not about how you start, but how you finish. Could not be more proud of our team. Stepping up when it mattered (even with a very last minute race change 🙄) and taking home a third place relay banner! Proud is truly an understatement and I’m thankful I got to compete with you guys. Shoutout to everyone from @sets_brick who put their best out there. It’s amazing to see you all pushing your limits.
