Being community for those with disabilities is often simpler than we think it is!

Sometimes it looks like asking about a child’s preferences and showing up in that space!

Sometimes it’s asking about a child’s safe foods and dropping some off!

What other ways can you be community for those navigating disabilities?

Disability parenting is hard and can be heavy.

The weight is real and not imaginary.
Sometimes the church makes it heavier my offering cliches instead of compassion.
Sometimes people make it harder by offering ‘solutions’ instead of presence.
People don’t need your theology. They need your heart. They don’t need your ideas. They need your presence.

It is different when we really see someone and they feel fully seen by us. That is where impact begins.

Today we celebrate the parenting moments people don’t always see. The sacrifices parents make. The exhaustion of trying to balance it all. The labor of love.

To every parent, caregiver, and growing family in our community, we see you.

Your little one is lucky to have you. And we’re grateful to be part of your parenting journey, from the messy moments to the milestones.

Happy Global Day of Parents 💚

It’s the Final Week of My Yoga Teacher Training … and wow, we are really feeling it 🥹❤️💜✨

The past week has been full, rich, and surreal as we begin to seal up this journey together. Special thanks to @caryday for her Beautiful Basics class and delightful singing! 🎶

We spent a beautiful evening exploring some Ayurveda fundamentals, taking a dosha quiz and exploring our individual constitutions. 🌿✨

A huge thank you to @essentialswithmarissa 💜 for sharing her heart and wisdom around essential oils, offering guidance and ways to weave self care into everyday life and practice. Such a nourishing, sensory experience for everyone!

We also dove into hands-on assists and adjustments 🤲✨ -- learning how to support others with consent and confidence. From there, students collaborated, organized, and practiced together in preparation for our collective teaching practicum.

🧘💫 Now onto Finals and individual teaching!

We can and can’t believe we’re closing this chapter 🥹💜 So much growth. So much heart. So much to celebrate. ✨

One more big weekend!
