Time for another spotlight on those special to me. This time it’s for the amazing @essx_cosplay , one might call him astonishing as well. Eric has been in my life for a very long time and as per most of my closest bonds it is because of X-Men. We both love the goddess that is Storm, cosplay, and have been there for each other for lots of ups and lots of downs. Love you Eric!

I was so excited to be a cosplay guest for both cons and I went all in with the X-men and the Hellfire Gala. At Uncanny I got to chat with @chrisclearmountain and @lenorezann among many other xmen stars! I didn't get a lot of solo shots but made up for it at LA Comic Con. We also had our last Fall @hellfiregalawalk and we wear able to recreate The Five by @lucianovecchioart . Swipe for more pics!

C2E2 Day 2: Revolutionary Cyclops. ❌

I’ve always loved the look of this suit, but the subtext hits a lot harder lately. In the comics, this was the moment Scott realized that just “keeping the peace” isn’t the same thing as actually finding justice.

With everything going on in the world right now, that revolutionary spirit feels more relevant than ever. Sometimes being a hero means you have to stop following a broken compass. The dream only works if you’re willing to fight for it. No more apologies.

Last weekend at C2E2. As always, I had a blast with people I adore and made new friends. Got to wear really fun cosplays including my new favorite of Rain in his classic ninja look from Mortal Kombat 3. Number 3- Wanda Maximoff, The Scarlet Witch
.
Because of course. This is probably my last grand cosplay of my career, but I love her. After I got in the WandaVision craze I of course became obsessed with Wanda and I was so invested in making my perfect genderbend of the Scarlet Witch.
.
This is one of the only cosplays I actually put in my professional design portfolio. My concept for the main costume was inspired by the original comic design of her but with the distress and corruption of MCU Wanda from Multiverse of Madness. The symbols all over the costume are actually runes that represent things that Wanda desires in all of her story arcs.

Number 14, I think it should be standard in the queer cosplay community that everyone should have at least one X-Men character in their resume. Rogue will be that one for me.
.
The first pictures are about a decade old(clearly). This was my first time doing Rogue and truly this group was one of my first group cosplays and it felt so special to be included in a group of all LGBTQ+ cosplayers it was my first time! It was a day I truly made friends for life.
.
The later pics are from a suit I won in some random raffle but didn’t end up getting until three years ago and this is considered one of my last real cosplays.
