Meet the first spotlighted creator of two sign language alphabet (SLA) sets. I am Estefani, the person behind this page, which can also be found on Instagram as @2d.estefani. This page showcases deaf creators, specifically those participating in the 36 days of SLA.

In 2019, I discovered the @36daysoftype account. I saw a hearing artist creating a sign language alphabet, particularly in 36 days of type. Realized many hearing creators create SLA outside of the event, including Gallaudet font. I created my own version to showcase diversity in the deaf
community through colorful and feminine designs by deaf creator represent. Another set was created in 2021 with animation and a transformation between SLA and English but numbers are yet to be completed in both sets.

My current project for 2023 is to create a new set of SLA in both the alphabet and numbers. I also created this page to invite Deaf/HOH artists worldwide to participate in this event by creating each letter and number in sign language. This way, we can increase the number of Deaf/HOH creators of the sign language alphabet.
