✨ New Course! ✨ Introduction to 3D Type in Blender

3D type isn’t just visually exciting, 3D skills are becoming increasingly valuable across disciplines and open up new creative possibilities for letterform design and typography. Whether you work in branding, web design, packaging, or any field where you need to stand out, 3D can bring your typography to life and give your work an extra edge.

Over five sessions, you’ll learn how to transform flat letterforms into eye-catching 3D designs—from modeling to rendering and exporting in Blender.
By the end, you’ll have the tools (and confidence) to push your typography beyond the screen.

Led by Estefanía Leyva (@estefania_leyva) & Antar Castro (@antarcastro).

🎓 We have scholarships! Apply by Friday, Mar. 6 for priority consideration.

Early this month I had the joy of organizing a design workshop with friends in Mexico City. @alinakiliwa and I co-led a one day workshop with @letrastica.cdmx where participants created hand lettered posters that spoke to social issues that resonated with each designer and their community. The designs were then animated utilizing various frame by frame techniques, that focused on concepting and how motion can amplify messaging.

Thank you to the @letrastica.cdmx and @ateacdmx for making the event possible and to all the participants. It was wonderful meeting everyone and seeing the inspiring work that came out of the event!🫶
