Heres the first of probably many sappy graduation posts.

There are too many words that I could say here but I will try to say what I can. I am so incredibly grateful for what God has done for me through Southland. I have gotten to meet some of my best friends here and gotten closer with old ones. Thank you for every leader who’s helped me on my journey. I’ve had opportunities I never thought I’d have. Too many memories to include in an instagram post. But these pictures represent a small portion of my journey. God was so intentional in where he put me over the past 7 years, and I have no doubt he’ll continue his faithfulness. I’m ready for whatever journey he’s putting me into at Southland and beyond. For the friends who have stayed, come and gone, and still being made, this isn’t really a goodbye. Just a thank you.

So guys I’m a little late to posting but let’s be real my nap was more important than a post!!! Anyways I’m so glad I was able to get introduced to what the secretariat was and how much they actually do behind the scenes, although I’m a Kya fan myself kuna is becoming just as if not more fun!

I received a revelation over the idea of renewal:

Why wait until a new year to find places in your life to change or to grow in? As we wait and accept a new year as an entirely new time to live in, then so should we take every day as a new day that we can grow, change, and live in. I was never much of a new year's resolution kind-of-guy, but I will make every effort to see tomorrow as a new day with new blessings, and from every day from then on doing the same, for as long as I have. Reflection is an important practice, one that I neglect a little too much. Reflection doesn't need a new year to partake in, nor does it need some big, life-changing event. Rather, you just need a little bit of time and an open mind.

Thank you Jesus, for the unyielding grace and abundant joy you grant me and those around. Lord, I ask that you bless each of our days and help us serve you to our fullest.

Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 - "I perceived that there is nothing better for them to than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil–this is God's gift to man."

Thank you for another year.
