Mini Documentary | Student Leadership & Community Impact

This documentary explores the journey and leadership of the President of the Nigerian Students Society at Bournemouth University and his commitment to building a thriving community for Nigerian students.

Projects like this remind me why I love documentary filmmaking capturing authentic stories and preserving moments that matter.

Directed, filmed and edited by @LightartMedia.

I attended the @tedx_official event hosted by @tedxbournemouthuniversity @bournemouthuni on 4th February, 2026

TOPIC: DISCONNECTED IN A CONNECTED WORLD

The @ted was an inspiring event that explored action, connection, indigenous knowledge, AI, and the spaces we designed to live in.

From The Power of Doing to conversations on climate adaptation, storytelling, and belonging, the event reminded us that meaningful connection doesn’t happen by chance — it is designed, nurtured, and acted upon.

Grateful to the organisers, led by @jeffbarnes360 and the project manager @estherisaiah_ , the speakers, and @sububournemouth and @subufto team for creating a space where ideas truly connected people.
