Throw back to IWD2022! This was an interesting one at the tail end of a global pandemic, we anticipated a virtual celebration…..but the regulations lifted 2 weeks before the event. So… we jammed many hours into planned and executing to make this happen and it was nothing short of incredible to finally get together again in person 🤍

2024 – The Year of Yes ✨

I said that this year would be the year of “yes.” (Cliche I know) Not just yes to adventure (though I’ve been lucky enough to experience some unforgettable ones), but yes to new directions, yes to work opportunities I never imagined, yes to change, and yes to authentic love in all its forms. ❤️

Looking back at where I was this time last year, it’s hard to grasp how much has shifted. There were moments of uncertainty—unemployed, struggling to pay bills, moving, rehoming my dear Jaco, losing my aunt, and saying goodbye to Tesla—but through it all, my friends and family showed up in ways I’ll never forget. You listened, loved, and held space for me when I needed it most. And I would be lying if I still don’t feel scarcity at times. But, this past year has shown me, it will get better and what is meant to teach you will appear until you have learnt the lesson needed.

This year, I said yes to new experiences: Banff, Sunshine Coast, the Big Island in Hawaii, NYC… and even tried lawn bowling and went gliding for the first time. 🌍 I went to a concert solo, hiked in the mountains by myself, and learned to embrace the beauty of independence.

It’s also been a year of growth. I’m working on projects I never thought possible, collaborating with teams that truly value my voice. I’m financially stable, and Jaco is thriving in a new loving home. I’ve committed to self-care—yoga, meditation, hiking, journaling, and therapy—while pursuing growth both personally and professionally.

And, most unexpectedly, I found my person. A relationship where love doesn’t need fixing, just being, It’s the safest I’ve ever felt in a relationship and a reminder that love is simple when it’s real.

For the first time in my life, I’m prioritizing me. And the more I do that, the more I feel respected and loved by others. It’s wild, but true: when you take care of yourself first, you attract the love and respect you deserve.

Grateful for every step of this journey and excited for what’s to come. ✨
