I had to RE INVENT!

As many of you know, for the most part of my life I was a professional dancer, dance was my life, and that’s all I knew. About 4 years ago my life got flipped upside down due to Covid/illness/life circumstances. The word LOST was the definition of my soul. I couldn’t even recognize myself… It was the hardest thing I’d ever been through. I luckily had a good family behind me and they supported me into a new phase of life. Once I was better, I had the choice to go back to LA and pursue dancing, I realized I no longer wanted that life. No longer would I leave so much of my life up to auditions and “knowing the right person” and compromising myself. That actually was never me, but something i HAD to be to succeed in that industry. I chose a different path, it wasn’t the easy path, BUT now I have so much more control over my life and that gives me peace. With that being said, I am so grateful for my dance career and having got to see the world and meet wonderful people. I will never forget it and sometimes I really miss it.
I ultimately went back to school, got all of my licenses/certifications/permits and after a couple years opened my own business. I still longed for something I could be as passionate about as I was about dancing. It was a constant battle in my mind and heart. If you’ve gone from arts to working a regular job you can understand. Finally, after much manifestation, tattooing became an opportunity for me, I jumped all in and have not looked back! I love it, I love creating and seeing the look in people’s faces to their forever art!! I am sharing this to hopefully inspire you to go after what you’ve been thinking about or hoping about. To that person who is unhappy, it’s ok to shift, these are just jobs and there are thousands to choose from! It’s ok to start over… it’s ok. As long as you keep going and keep trying, miracles can happen! BUT THERE HAS TO BE ACTION! I’m not going to tell you it’s easy, it’s not, people glamorize owning your own business, IT’S ACTUALLY REALLY HARD! You have to define for yourself what’s worth it! I hope this helps or speaks to someone 🩷

We’ve come along way!…

From hiding my tattoos and feeling a bit ashamed that I liked them, to giving my MOM her first tattoo!
Crazy! 😝

Thanks for the support as I continue on this tattoo journey! 🫶
