My time here in Portugal is slowly coming to an end, and I’m not quite sure how five months went by this fast. 🥹

Five months of calling this place home. Of new friendships, golden sunsets and salty days spent chasing waves. Of holding space for yoga almost every day, meeting so many beautiful souls and listening to stories that inspired me, moved me and stayed with me.

This chapter has given me more memories, more connection and more love than I could have ever expected and my heart feels incredibly full thinking about everything I got to experience here.

But more than anything, these months reminded me of something I hope I’ll never forget:

It’s always the people we share these moments with who make a place feel like home and this life so special. ♥️

So grateful for every single one of you.🫶🏼✨

Meine Welt dreht sich weiter, auch wenn ich nicht da bin.
Diese Erkenntnis hat mir Portugal geschenkt.
Es fühlt sich so an, als hätte die Welt für mich eine Woche stillgestanden.
Denn eine Woche lang stand nur ich im Fokus.

Ich wurde vom @surf_spirit Algarve Team gehalten und musste mich um nichts kümmern außer pünktlich zum Essen, Yoga oder zu den Surf Lessons zu erscheinen.
Ich durfte einfach mal nur sein und mich durch die Woche tragen lassen.
Luxus pur.
Ich brauche bestimmt noch ein paar Tage, um all das zu integrieren.

1. Surfer Girl 🏄🏼‍♀️ Und ehrlich? Ich bin ziemlich stolz auf mich. Danke @tashsstuff, dass du diesen Moment für uns festgehalten hast.
2. Surf Spirit Algarve Community Space.
3. Unser Ausblick für eine Woche.
4. Yoga auf dem Rooftop.
5. Yoga im wunderschönen Dome. Danke @its.me.juliiiie und @esti.mate für die Yoga Sessions, Meditationen und das Sound Healing.
6. Unser Weg vom Zelt zum Community Space.
7. Freundschaft. Danke @mariechen_miss dass du mich auf dieser Reise begleitet hast. 💜

Das größte Geschenk dieser Reise war nicht das Surfen. Nicht das Yoga. Nicht die Unterkunft oder das gute Essen.

Das größte Geschenk war die Erlaubnis, die ich mir selbst gegeben habe, diese Reise überhaupt anzutreten.
Verantwortung abzugeben.
Mich einmal nicht darum zu kümmern, ob alles läuft.
Nicht ständig alles im Blick zu haben.
Nicht dafür verantwortlich zu sein, dass der Laden zusammenhält.
Wann passiert das als Mutter wirklich?

Nicht nur äußerlich frei zu haben, sondern auch innerlich loszulassen.

Diese Reise war Freiheit und Selbstbestimmung pur.
Und sie hat mir gezeigt:
Meine Welt dreht sich weiter, wenn ich nicht da bin.
Es funktioniert auch ohne mich.
Ich muss nicht alles kontrollieren.
Ich darf loslassen.

🌞Somewhere during these weeks in Goa
something softened in me.
I came here for a 300h advanced training.

More philosophy.
More anatomy.
More understanding of yoga.

And yes, there was so much learning.

But the most important lesson was much quieter:

Acceptance.

Not the kind you talk about in theory.
The kind you feel when life doesn’t look exactly how you expected it to.

Sitting with what is.
Breathing with it.
Not trying to immediately change it.

Again and again returning to the same place:
this moment.

Exactly as it is.

And maybe that was the real practice all along.

Somewhere between the ocean, the heat, the long days of practice and the many conversations and deep laughter with beautiful humans, something shifted.

I feel very grateful for the teachers who held and created this space at @earthyogavillage 🙏🏽

For the people who shared this journey.

And for Goa -
for holding all of it so gently. 🌚

Sometimes the biggest teachings
are the simplest ones.

Acceptance.
What is. 🌙

…and slowly I am learning that peace doesn’t come
from changing life - but from allowing it.

A month long journey with this lovely group 💫

Early mornings and mostly early evenings to keep up with the schedule. Pranayama, meditation, mantras, philosophy, anatomy, alignment, art of teaching, somatics, nervous system regulation, asanas and everything in between that comes up inside when you are in an intense training.

Laughter, dancing and struggles. But overall so much joy and care for each other. Community and support. From student friends and teachers. It has been a blessing to be surrounded by these people. 💗

I am happy and proud to receive my 500h yoga certification. Most of all so grateful for everything I have learned, to have deepen my knowledge in so many areas of yoga. I will forever be a student but I feel more confident and grounded in what I do and share. What I have learned feels more embodied than before. Looking forward to bring this into my daily life and my teachings. ✨️

To have had the chance to experience all this in beautiful south Goa has been absolutely amazing. Cows, dogs, birds, monkeys and squirrels all around (but also mosquitoes 😅). The sea, the palm trees, the food, the sunsets... Will forever remember this time with a big smile in my heart. 🫶

And think of it as soon as I hear the sound of a blender 😆

To all the beautiful people I have met here, I hope to see you soon again. Love to you all ❤️

So much to say and share about this transformational month of yoga training 🪷

It’s hard to put into words, but for now I will say how incredibly grateful I am

To @earthyogavillage for their incredible teaches and this beautiful space of community.

To my fellow students for the space of care and love we created for each other.

And to yoga, to India, for giving us this practice that teaches love in a time we need it so much 💫

Human connection. This is what made every experience magical so far.

I’ve traveled far and wide, seen incredible places, explored fascinating cultures, and learned so much. But what truly brings everything to life is connection — that little ingredient that blends it all together perfectly. Leave it out, and even the most amazing experience feels a bit meh. Like a pizza without mozzarella (I know, I’m so Italian I can’t help it).

Maybe I’m lucky, but wherever I go I meet wonderful, kind, and inspiring people. And I’ve noticed that the more I allow myself to be truly me, the easier it becomes to attract the people who are meant to be in my life.

To Sri Lanka and to every person I met along the way — you’re coming with me in my little heart forever. 🫶🏻Creating this reel made me emotional, and deeply grateful.

100-hour Yin and Yoga Nidra course is slowly slowly coming to an end. Our amazing students held space for their first class of Yin or Yoga Nidra journey yesterday with so much thoughtfulness, love and care, we couldn't be more proud!

14 days of early mornings, busy schedule, lots of new knowledge, shared meals, cozy evenings, chai breaks, some ups and downs but being held and supported by loving, heartfelt hugs with this beautiful group.

Soft Yin openings, intuitive movements, deep talks, self discoveries, chidaakash journeys and countless little memories that we will take with us alongside this certificate.

Grateful for these beautiful 2 weeks with spent together 🤍
