Star, this one’s for you. Almost eight years is a long time for any friendship, but when it starts online, I think that makes it even more special. People come and go so easily on the internet. Conversations fade. Lives change. Years pass. But every once in a while, somebody sticks around long enough that they stop feeling like “an online friend” and just become part of your life. That’s what you became to me.

For almost eight years, I’ve gotten to know your humor, your strength, your stubborn streak, your heart, your attitude, and that way you can somehow be sweet and dangerous at the exact same time. 😂 And that’s really what this song is about. This song isn’t about our friendship itself — it’s about the woman I’ve gotten to know because of that friendship.

I didn’t want to write some generic song about a “strong woman.” I wanted it to feel like you. RECOGNIZE THE PRINCESS. Because you’ve never been the kind of person who waits for somebody else to tell you who you are. You make your own road. You wear the crown your own way. You speak your mind. You laugh loud. You stand your ground. And if somebody can’t handle that, they probably shouldn’t have stepped into the kingdom in the first place.

And yes, boys, the rules still apply: You can look. Don’t touch. And for the love of God, quit drooling on Star’s damn floor. 😂

But underneath all the sass and jokes, I want you to know something real. I’m proud of you. I’m proud of the woman you are. I’m proud of the strength it takes to stay yourself in a world that is always trying to tell people how they should look, act, speak, live, and fit in. And I’m proud that after almost eight years, I still get to call you my friend.

Some friendships start in the same hometown. Some start at work. Some start because two people happen to be in the same place at the right time. Ours started through a screen. And somehow, all these years later, it became something real enough to matter. That means more to me than I probably say.

So this song is my way of celebrating the woman I’ve had the privilege of getting to know all these years — the fire, the heart, the attitude, th

December 2022 Part 2/2 was the perfect way to end 2022. From working during Grinchmas to witnessing history when Argentina won the World Cup 2022 with Messi finally getting his redemption and becoming the best soccer player in this generation, to being one of the last students on campus finishing up with finals, self-motivation level was on the roof btw @estreyeahstar like you said we all are moving up from here 😤🔥💯and lastly John Cena surprisingly us all to return for a match on the last Friday of 2022 after having the best 20th Anniversary since his legendary debut on WWE back in 2002. #Thankyou2022👋🏽 it was a pleasure. 🙏🏽
