Growing up, my mom loved finding ways to make holidays full of real cheer. Little window stickers, special treats, and genuine smiles. Whether the rest of my house is all over the place doesn't matter! Today we celebrate!

Day 1 of staff retreat included getting people out of their comfort zone. Team task was to identify an image to represent our current team family and to paint it. Then build a mini diorama to frame their masterpiece and encased in an ornament.

We had a Raku firing during the SAA Fine Art Fair. I didn’t think I would be this wiped out. Thank you to all the people who helped with the firing!! The weather was great, but it got hotter and hotter by early afternoon.

This week, the SAA assisted New York artist Danielle Mastrion in leading Sangamon County high school students to complete this mural in Southeast High School's courtyard. Mastrion will be painting one of the two murals featured in the new Springfield-Sangamon County Transportation Hub later this year. Both of the mural artists hired for the Hub were asked to provide an opportunity for Sangamon County students to learn about mural painting. Thanks to the Sangamon County Board, Southeast High School, Hanson Professional Services, and KIND Consulting for making this project possible.

Designed this wrap for @springfield.art with @esvends the past couple of months! Turned out amazing! Hand made all the color and the texture is killer.

My cousin John @streetartcustoms wrapped it for us. Turned out so sweet!!

We finished firing in record time for the amount of pieces we went through. This is the remaining #dreamteam at the end of the event. Many others who’ve helped weren’t pictured here. Forgot to take a group pic before and during the event.
