Year 2 of mentoring in Dallas ISD ✅

Thank you to @sylviabreeves , @kingdavidreeves , and @mentorconnector for giving me the opportunity to guide the next generation.

These kids are our future, pouring into them means everything in the world. Teaching them life skills and guiding them through my own past experiences is what it’s all about.

To my mentees (I know y’all are watching), thank you all for allowing me to be your mentor. The conversations, the jokes, the laughs I will never forget any of those moments.

Let’s stop faulting kids for the things they don’t know. Let’s guide them, love them, pour into them, and help lead them in the right direction.

Until next time.

If you can’t listen to your coach, you won’t play 🗣️🗣️

As a player you have to be coachable. No matter how talented you are? you have to be willing to listen to what your coach is telling you. Remember, they are the ones making the decisions, not you 🤷🏽‍♂️

If you’re quiet on the court, it will be hard for you to succeed at the next level!

Good teams talk, great teams are loud!! make sure your over commuting while you’re on the floor, it will benefit you in the long run 💯

“Chase the system, not the bag” 👀

Players it may sound good when the offers come through and you see how much money you could make. Just because you’ll make money does not mean you’ll play!!

If you want to go pro, Find the system that benefits you! 🔥🔥
