AV/LX stuff: ArtisticDifferences.av Laser art: Contact for sales & custom order requests

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Moving house, and dug out 3 hefty crates of the spray paint & laser art that I made during lockdown, as the side gig @etchedbeams !
If you’ve been caught lacking and haven’t sorted out Xmas presents, take a look at the EtchedBeams page and if any catch your eye, I probably still have 90% of them there. Nice one ;)

Literally a dream job there, had the privilege of crew bossing for the entirety of a Rammstein show. Met some serious crew, learned an awful lot and had great craic grafting it out with everyone.
The pyro stuff’s unreal.

This was another Nursing Conference I worked on recently. Set up with media for the event across two laptops, controlled via a Roland V1-SDI 3G-SDI and a DI box.
Lights operated with the ETC Ion.

Had an interesting gig there for the German Med Tech company, Zeiss.
I’d to set up a handful of iPad’s in podiums, some TV’s, then wire up these super high tech, 3D microscopes, then operate audio throughout the event.
They’re a bit like the set up of a TV camera, but what’s cool about them is, with the right glasses on, the output of their equipment gives a crazily well defined 3D image. They then allow for geographically separated medical experts to participate in a surgery. Pretty cool kit.

This is a good sign…
Less red tape used (marking things as broken). Fair amount of black tape used (wrapping cables). But running out of white tape (from labelling lighting desks because I’m operating).

First AV gig using the Roland V800-HD. Pretty sweet piece of kit! So many inputs, and then it handles them all like a dream!
