Doom band from New York City. R.I.P.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hello again, steamin' & beamin' for that Friday evenin'🍻

I raise an early toast [for the weekend] to all those who enjoy a drink, a smoke, BOTH or just like a cold, tall glass of water - whatever you imbibe enjoy it with pride & never mind the funny looks from others; you do you & stay true no matter the blues they try to stew♨️

I've always enjoyed booze... until my vertigo got so bad & I'm not paying fake ar$e doctors to try to diagnose just what's causing it when I stopped drinking & it's down by nearly 95% by a 3 month's lapse of time so, the root cause?

Vertigo is generally associated with the brain & circulatory issues like not enough oxygen to the brain & an offset of not enough blood carrying oxygen to & back from the body once it's sent out & without delay, but I've also got nerve damage with some deteriorated cartilage in places where I've likely worn down some joints without asking for x-rays, but who'$ got the ca$h🚑

Either way, booze it, roast it or just cruise like a sober MF, I get it, keep it metal🤘

When you can't find the material you're looking for in fabric shops (if the chain stores haven't left your state or town) plz consider a 2nd hand store / thrift shop OR even yard $ale$, you might be $hocked🤔

Not just cheaper in cost, but to consider how long they might have been stored somewhere outside of retail & in collections, chests or just drawers never opened, the material you buy could be instantly R A R E💎

Also, it's likely a slab of uncommon fabric will often be more appealing to the eye than even the patch you border it around or even the stitching patterns you put into your pieces💰

Shown here, the nearly done blue flannel shirt 4) for exterior wear for black tees while I washed, over a dozen times, to finally squeeze the last of dyes out of the maroon flannel 3) & maybe a solitary post for the pullover 5) + 6) that's a stack of shroom patches when done,?

7 thru 10 are the already collected , non embroidered punk patches / canvas printed patches that fray, intentionally⏳

Single pics presently gettin' snapped to wrap a stack for the hoodie vest atm, Cheers👏

First off, THANK YOU all to turned out last night at the Faetooth show, got to catch Nomestomper a 2nd time in less than 7 days, hell yeaeaeaeahhh !

Now, dem hoods are back, so who's ready?!
A brief note : love patches?
Perhaps even YOU think your collection is lacking,?
Try BandCamp, I'd say nearly 3/4s of my collection is due to all the orders I've placed and even most of those orders, another 3/4s, are from bands I may never get to see Live😭

I know, there are the 'organic' fans out there - "can't wear it if ya didn't earn it," I get it, but if you truly wanna help bands you fan for, help spread the word of artists despite where you reside, despite the venues who may not ever be able to pay / book the talent they wi$h they could & simply put, you wanna help those you care for most - some time you have to Jean Valjean dat sh!te [Les Misérables by Victor Hugo] bread for the fam in place of your own plans,?🤔

Hoods, attached or with a zipper detachable, they rock, but this latest one... that liner O M F G; I had to train my fingers to feel the first layer pierced and then to pull on the liner nearly every stitch to know the needle is only on the top & not fully thru catching the liner, but damn it turned out sweet🦖

And retaining the print on the underside of the skulls,? I could have removed the liner entirely, but I also didn't purchase this hoodie... 'found art' as they call it, but the colors of red, yellow & orange were all intended to remind me of flames... if ya gotta go... cloak yourself in fire; protest, meditation, incineration for your final bath into the next world, I dig it🖤

The last 4 thin patches on this latest hoodie incoming while the pics of the hood from my 3rd vest w/ all the pins - that's THE furnace vest & precisely why* I started doing flannel vests... get stuck baking in my own juices, any ham would be jealous🐖🤗🍖

POLL : should it be another hood with zipper this next round?
Or reclaim another hoodie, minus the sleeves and try to make it more thrash / punk mixed,?

***in the Comments ~ 1 for hood on its own and 2 for thrash hoodie, what'll win?!

May ur Sundays be dank & merry OR loud n bright at the show 2night!!!

I stand with Ukraine.

I was born in Belaya Tserkov and lived in Lviv. We moved to America when I was 7yrs old.
As I write this Ukraine is under attack.
I am running a fundraiser to help Ukraine during this dire time. 100% of every sale from the MIBK bigcartel will be donated to @savelife.in.ua

If you’d like to donate directly:
https://savelife.in.ua/

“Together For Ukraine” shirt designed by @soaresartwork

The other two were designed by my father.

Please share this & spread the word. Everything and anything helps.

@blackanvil @eternalblackdoom as well @jjkoczan and The Obelisk will also donate 100% of every sale for all items listed in our store.

Slava Ukraini!

Sincerely,
Vadim David Dyadyuk & MIBK

A surprise pickup from last week, I couldn’t help but add this cute little guy to my collection… though as i type this I kinda feel I’m wasting a great chance for some serious dick jokes about a 7” album from a Band called the Buzzcocks.

Pat from @geezertown said it best, “Thanks to @eternalblackdoom for keeping NYC doom alive.” They drove the final nail in last night, no hammers required, only riff’s. #doom #nyc #doomovertheworld #bleedthedays #niceguysfinishfirst
