“hey braden, why did you want to squadlead?”

Simply because Jesus Christ is worthy of it all and through my little sacrifice, He let me see the beauty of discipleship in action! This time He even let me drive a little bit!

To D Best Squad:
Thank you for a sweet season in ministry together! I am blessed by every single of you and can’t be more thankful for great friends who adore the Lord! Thank you for the good and the hard!

And as always,
Be Blessed and Stay Salty

“When you think of the church, names should come to mind before ideas.” - Ethan’s Pastor

Thank you Lord for these people I have had the privilege to travel the world and share the gospel with. I will never forget it. We all are free forever in Christ. The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand—on to the next glory.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”

A love letter to D best squad
Our leadership team called ourselves DC, to the outside person we would say it stands for discipleship crew, but on the inside we knew ourselves as the dancing cookies based off of a really dumb story joke that Megan told. I was lucky to have the whole trip with my leadership team all together, that led us to go close in intimacy, friendship, shape our leadership and grow into stronger followers of Christ. Now this year of being a leader was not easy by any means, countless meetings ( one of which we had in the back of the plane), on the spot decisions that impact our whole squad and more. But it also came with so many sweet memories. Most of those came from my team of girls.
Team Gili is a team that embodies the definition of our name, spontaneous joy! My 6 girls and I really did bond from day 1 and throughout the whole race pointed each other to Christ, did many crafts together, shared plenty of coffee together and even read 3 books! Most of my top memories with my team came from our birthdays celebrated together, watching My life with the walter boys and eating endless popcorn cooked on the stove with of course, extra salt. They made my year enjoyable and forever memorable and I am so so thankful for each of them.
D squad as a whole was united, funny, pranksters, whorshipful, and honestly a family for better or worse. They loved like family, argued like family , but at the end of the day our family, loved the Lord, loved the nations and loved one another.
DC,Gili and D squad have all my love,
SQL Abby
