Who’s got faster reaction times?

Ethan Bathala (18) posted five backstroke reaction times under .5s in one meet (U.S. Nationals) — including a 0.46s.

For context, this appears to be the fastest of the OMEGA-timed events this year and NCAAs, where the fastest was .53

Who did it best?⬇️

Shoutout to @mashaswims for this awesome drill!

The board overhead is a cool addition to one of our go-to body position kick drills - L-position kick.

While there are tons of benefits to this drill (and you can read about them on @mashaswims original post), my favorite parts of this drill is how it works 1️⃣core balance and 2️⃣hip drive through the kick.

You’ll notice those struggling tend to be the swimmers who are disengaging their core and/or kicking more from their knees than hips.

So of these 6, who did it best?🤔👇
