Next Thursday and Friday, October 8th and 9th, I’m thrilled to bring the quintet to Hirut! It will be two nights of original music with this amazing band, working the new tunes, and leading us directly into the following two days at the studio to lay down the new record, ‘Inner Onward’.

Hirut is a wonderful, vital venue on the Danforth which is a true music listening room (and has great food too!). I’m delighted to have the opportunity to bring the band to the club to showcase the new material and prepare for what will be my first recording of all original music. Come hear what I’ve been working diligently on for the last year - I’m very excited to share this new music with you!

Tenor - Mike Murley
Trumpet - Kevin Turcotte
Bass - Dan Fortin
Drums - Ethan Ardelli
Piano and compositions - Sean Nimmons

8pm start - two sets.
Hirut is located at 2050 Danforth Ave.

A small clip of "I'm Through With Love" - forgot I had this! I like how simple and unadorned we're playing...no bells and whistles...
at Hirut with Adrean Farrugia, Pat Collins and Ethan Ardelli
