Countdown to AVF 2027 starts NOW!!!

I’ve been coming to Helen since the SOWO days, and this year was easily one of the best yet. These shit boxes might bring us together, but it’s the people that make this event what it is. Met so many good people over the years through these silly cars, and everywhere I went this weekend there was another familiar face with a huge smile. Here’s a few memories to hold us over till next year.

HUGE CONGRATS to all the DUDES that received show field spots! @avfshow2026

Absolutely epic day with @_bunchofdudes , cruising up to the Linn Cove Viaduct to check out some fall colors, then cruising around WNC to end up back on the Parkway to catch a sunset from an overlook. About 280 miles covered.

Been meaning to make this post for a awhile, but I wanted to thank everyone (or try to) that helped in one way or another in this project. It was a lot to manage while @aperennialplant and I were dealing with major damage to our home from Helene, getting our lives turned upside down would be an insane time to start building a car… but here we are.

Couldn’t have made it happen without yall. 🫶 can’t wait to see everyone out and make some new memories!

Another @rootsclassic in the books, want to thank the homies who show up and helped with the cabrio in the last year. It’s been a transformative year with great shows and better hangs. Closing out #hotmk3summer on a high note!

Happy Father’s Day to the man, the myth, the legend @svorsp Thanks for Volkswagen sickness that has undoubtedly ruined all chances of a stable financial future. Wouldn’t have it any other way!
