The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee - Valley Student Theatre PLUS ⭐️

This was a show I didn’t know I needed in my life. It sprouted a new dream role that I had the most absolute pleasure of portraying. Olive was the most challenging and rewarding roles I have ever gotten to play. She reminded me the importance of kindness and compassion. She will forever hold a special place in my heart.
This process was unlike anything I have experienced and it was completely worth it. While chaotic, I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. My cast mates never failed to blow me away each night. Each role fit everyone perfectly, I couldn’t have asked for it any other way.
Thank you to this cast, for being a joy to work with on and off stage. Creating a fun and productive environment each rehearsal. Thank you @duganjustfine @julianne.thouin for trusting me with this beautiful role and helping bring the world of spelling bee to life in such a fantastic way! Thank you @sstephens630 for the AMAZING cast photos. They are always incredible, and get better and better every time! Thank you @sarahrosestack for the hilarious, fun choreography and being apart of this wonderful process! Lastly, thank you to my family for being my biggest supporters especially when I have those moments of self doubt. You guys are always there to lift me up! This show will be one that stays with me in my heart and will have a very hard time saying goodbye too. “Ilove” you Olive Ostrovsky ⭐️,

Goodbye 📕🐝💛

Spelling Bee!
It was such an honor to play such an “interesting” character alongside some of my oldest friends. Playing Leaf definitely came with a lot of firsts for me, but being surrounded by such a talented cast made my experience feel so easy and fun. Thank you once again to everyone who made our little run possible. “I fell”.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee - Valley Student Theatre 2026

this show was SO much fun. i’m so grateful i got the opportunity to play the very challenging marcy parks. she’s a deceivingly hard character, and it took time to discover who she is, but im very happy with the outcome :) the cast was SO PERFECT as their roles, it was genuinely insane to watch and to perform alongside them. thank you so much to the cast, creative team, and of course @valleystudenttheatrect for giving me such a great memory.

So sad that I can’t have a very unfortunate elimination more for one of my new favorite shows. Thank you to the super talented cast, crew, and artistic team behind the bee for a great ride! Until next time, Chip.

His favorite memory in East Harmonies is competing alongside so many talented friends at ICCA! Ethan’s favorite song we’ve performed is Work Song by Hozier 🎤
As a freshman, Ethan stepped up into the role of beatboxer for our group. He performed vocal percussion for our first ever ICCA set! GO ETHAN!! 🥁🎙️
