I had the opportunity to shoot a short film called “Promise” this past year. It is the sweetest film about childhood friendship! It’s one of those stories that makes you want to call your sister more often or reach out to your long-lost elementary school best friend. If you are in Utah, you can buy tickets to watch it here: https://byutickets.evenue.net/events/2000

GUYS we made a DANCE FILM 😍🎥🌟

@miorikennedy and I had the PLEASURE to choreograph and create this piece with our fabulous and incredibly talented friends, and it could not have been more fun. I forget that sometimes you can just MAKE art, so that’s cool.

Huge shoutout to @hannahguevarafilms for making this happen, the vision came to LIFE baby and I couldn’t be more hyped.

As of last week Promise is officially done❕Hopefully yall can see it in September❕

I was art, wardrobe, and stop motion artist/animator. I made a marionette, got better at animating, and learned not leave antique furniture on the side of the road. It was so lovely to have so much creative liberty, and it was extra special to work with my friends.

Mimi and Jade are the most special girls. Both of them have a kindness and creativity that I really admire. I miss them.

Steadi/DP work—the first since my capstone! Had a couple Steadicam shots that were deceptively tricky because the aisles on the train were pretty narrow, but fun nonetheless. @andrew.harker gaffing for me, @ethankjalba first ac’ing, and @lincolnlillywhite directing.

P.S. I know I said I would film more bts but I did not because I’m lazy and I forgot. Maybe on next week’s shoot!
