Last night was a celebration, a joyful sound, a swirling of God, of Mother, and us. A moan of collective grief, a prayer for the homeward traveler, a dance so light I am lifted today.

I was held, embraced, prayed for, given room to grieve, cherished, healed, and returned to purpose. Clarified; may I carry my love for the Lord, not just in my heart, but in my doing, in the breath of my song, in every utterance, every day, and may that doing replenish me. May I carry this love for the women in my life, for Mother Earth, in my deeds and in my actions today. May we grant ourselves Mercy, grant each other mercy, may Mercy flow in the gift of this album by these tremendously talented musicians.
A circle of trust, extending from stage, to us. Thank you for last night, for this signed copy of the album I listen to today, for a renewal of spirit and purpose I feel today.
Let these images I was able to capture, these stolen moments, be a testament to the talents God gave me, to the talents of these musicians, to their dedication to the craft, to our purpose here on earth.
‘The Mercy we Need’ is an album we need, and I would encourage anyone who can, to see this band live, for in their show there is catharsis, laughter, and a steady movement towards the divine.
