figuring out the tube in london by myself gave me a huge ego boost
it was my first ever time being there
actually my first trip out of the country alone
i was 18

jumping the fence to dumpster dive - i heard the spot is ruined now
i remember stitch apologizing for bringing me along
it wasnt glamorous or fun how it might look in photos to ppl that dont have to do this
it was a vulnerable moment between us in my eyes

stitch and maggo arent one of the punks that want or allow everyone to take photos of them like theyre some sort of attraction
but these women approached us way differently saying that they get it wearing shirts saying “I DONT NEED SEX The Government FUCKS Me Every Day!”
The three of them met in prison

adam and tubs rolling a spliff in the tube
if i remember correctly they scolded me for wasting film on smth so casual to them which i found funny

im so grateful for adam showing me this swing in shoreditch
everytime i go to london i come back there its so cinematic and magical

i spent quite a bit of time there eating the best new york style pizzas with stitch

i met erik (im probably misspelling his name) in the tube by approaching him asking to take a photo of him cause of his cool outfit and vibe
i didnt expect this interaction to lead me to meeting all of his bandmates and going on unexpected adventures together
“were actually just going to the cemetery now if youd like to join us, karl marx’s tomb is there”
or just as important - my first wetherspoons experience

bruno’s funny expression cheered me up

i happened to meet the band at a very specific and special time for them - separating as the semester was about to end and everyone had to go back to their countries

social recap.

This was the first time I was properly involved in the social after being indoctrinated into streetmedia back in 2024, full well knowing the amount of preparation that went into the event before hand from organising, promotion, sponsorships, competitions ect.. I’m very grateful for the outcome and being apart of something so significant in the uk calendar year. I felt so proud seeing the turn out, the atmosphere created and the feedback from everybody. This year was genuinely crazy, the international turn out combined with the mix of heads from all over the country was insane to see! so thankful for everyone that came.

it’s a complete for circle moment for myself as helping the event but also being committed to capturing and making something out of it to post on the channel in which has some of the first videos I ever watched by a team I grew up around idolising and was bought up by in a way. it’s a surreal feeling being in the position I am now comparing it to the position I was when I was a kid when I first started the sport and met the og street media guys and to see how everything’s evolved into what it is now.

It’s only recently I’ve felt more apart of the larger scope of the scene realising the magnitude and impact of our sport, It’s so rewarding to be apart of and help further amplify the culture. It’s unique in its own way and needs to be celebrated more. I hope events like this will happen more often especially in the uk!

To conclude all my respect goes to @nozlin_ for consistently putting in the work every year and giving me the opportunity to be apart of the chaos. Much love. 🖤🖤 #streetmedia
