I never thought this chapter of my life would be coming to an end, but that’s time has come. This sports has changed my life in so many ways and i am forever grateful for that. Volleyball has given me countless opportunities and some of my favorite memories that i will cherish forever. It has also given me some of my life long friendships so thanks so much for anyone who had cheered for me and been there through my volleyball journey!

Thanks to Trent and Diego for pushing me to be the best version of myself on and off the court, i would also like to thank any coach that has helped me along this amazing journey, like Coach Snider, Coach Bev, and most importantly the best Coach my Mom couldn’t have been where i am at without you guys!!

Want to give a special Thanks to @excelboysvolleyball for giving me the best experiences over the past 2 years as well as giving me the best teammates i could ever ask for you guys will forever be my best friends no matter what!!

Sappy post incoming… well it has finally come to an end. A day I knew was coming but wasn’t really prepared for. This is a series of lasts. A last warm up. A last set. A last serve. A last huddle. A last run through with 🙌. A last hug from parents and players. A last cheer for my boy. This team was the team we needed for our senior year. A team that we could have fun and friendships. No drama. @excelboysvolleyball has been our family for many years even before Andrew started playing and it’s where he needed to be when he finished. John and I are so proud of Andrew and his team for their accomplishments this season and the seasons before. He’s played with some of these boys his whole career. These boys are like my own when they’re on the court. “I need a band aid” “I need more water.” I missed their final game but it was probably for the best. This mama’s heart wouldn’t have been able to take it.😭 THIS.IS.FAMILY. To this Excel 18 Red team…. Best of luck in college. You are such a smart, kind hearted, polite, funny, and unique group of men; your parents did an amazing job raising you to take on the world. It has been a pleasure to be around you and your families. You have been a blessing to Andrew and our family. Remember what Mrs. Macktinger said at our team party, “we are always here for you no matter what you need.” We mean it, each and every one of us. So long for now. Big hugs to each and every one of you. 💜

Day 3 of AAU Nationals… 18 Red… playing on championship court definitely makes you play more like a champion…. It’s fun to watch these boys bring IT on another hard day. Going into Day 4 as a higher seed than why we came into. That’s a goal in itself. #excelboysvolleyball #aaunationals

Day 1 of AAU Nationals: 18 Open. This is a tough division of 48 teams that have to apply and be accepted to play. We are one of the 48. Many of these boys we’re playing against are college commits at D1 schools. Wow! The talent… we played our best and came up short. But we just want the boys to enjoy their last tournament together. It’s a joy to watch them play. #excelboysvolleyball #aaunationals #aauvolleyball #aauboysvolleyball

As senior year comes to a close and their last volleyball tournament is just days away, this Excel Boys 18 Red team celebrated all their accomplishments over the last season. This is a special group of boys where some have played together since they were 13-14. After a two hour practice indoors, they took their game to the grass. I love that their volleyball club honors the seniors who have been with Excel throughout their high school career or those who have been with Excel throughout their volleyball career. These boys are special… I’m proud to say being team mom for this group has been an honor. 💜😢 #excelboysvolleyball
