Three generations, one race! 🏃🏾‍♀️🏅💙

Those hills were NO JOKE! And running with a stroller for the first time? Whew, a whole new challenge!

But we crossed that finish line at 40 minutes & 50 seconds! 🎉

Huge shoutout to my mom for showing up and making these memories with us. ❤️

More than a race, it was a family adventure!

The Race 2026. I love running this gnarly course as part of my fall build.

Thank you to the @lululemon Avalon crew for showing up strong to volunteer in the start corrals. For @m_zigg who said “yes” to a crazy-early morning as she continues to explore this running thing. So much gratitude for the connections this sport keeps bringing into my life. New and old run friends I’ve come to admire deeply on and off the course.

Congratulations to @therace_uc + @runningnerds on another great event. See you next year for #10.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄! ❤️🖤💚 Some races are about the race but this one is about so much more.

It’s the familiar faces, the unexpected run-ins, the hugs before and after, the cheering, the laughing, the catching up AND that feeling of being surrounded by people who get how 𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐅𝐔𝐋 this event truly is.

Year 9 done!✅

If you missed it this year, be sure to ADD IT TO YOUR LIST and sign up for THE RACE 10-YEAR HOMECOMING! September 30 – October 3, 2027

11 years ago, ADAPT was an idea. Today, it’s a community. 💙

Looking through these photos reminds us that the greatest thing we’ve built isn’t inside these four walls, it’s the people who fill them.

Thank you for every workout, every laugh, every celebration, every referral, every high five, and every moment you’ve chosen to spend with us.

🌟 We wouldn’t be ADAPT without you. Here’s to 11 years together!

More Sweat With Your Sole! Day 3. Saturday. The color was Pink and Black. RACE DAY. I ran 16.19 K of hills with @dhf_org and @officialblackgirlsrun I walked to the race venue (1 mile each way). After the race there were so many sessions to choose from. Alot of Recovery was offered but my silliness attended @livfit413 Afrobeats Class. It kept me moving but restored my SOUL! The evening was a formal dinner. The color...Shades of Melanin. Our guest speaker was @morrischestnutofficial So I was proved wrong. I thought triathletes have the most laundry. With my 3 wardrobe changes on Saturday and 2 on Friday, I realized that Conference Attendees of @sweatwithyoursole WIN! I still have our final day to tell y'all about and I'm sure you know...IT GETS EVEN BETTER! If you like my face glitter and temporary tatt order yours @myracetatts Use Code Angela106. Mimi of 2. Now BACK to the Sweat With Your Sole Conference...I know y'all are waiting. Friday the theme color was PURPLE. We started the day with a run through historic Jackson Ward. In lieu of tiring my legs at the sessions I scheduled myself for, I volunteered at the Varlo Store. Picked up my race packet and saw THEE @sikahenry and @marathonliftgirl We were fed breakfast, lunch, and a DELICIOUS dinner. The awards ceremony was fiyah. And of course the DJ kept us moving. Check out my temporary BGR Tattoo and glitter freckles. @myracetatts ALWAYS pulls through. (Use code Angela106 for a discount). I still have 2 more days to tell y'all about and it's getting juicy!!
