“LEGACY’S VISION LAB” photography workshop 📸 🚦 📷

“The art of timing” Segment🔋⌛️

Coach Legacy curated a workshop with our youth and spoke on what it means to find your eye and understand the art of timing. Learning to see beyond the camera and discovering the unique perspective that makes your work your own.

Big thank you to Legacy for sharing this knowledge, teaching our youth a new skill, and building with the next generation of creators. More to come. 📸✨

“Clash of the Titans” - Debate Club Segment 🚦 🚨 🗣️ 💭 🫰🏾
- Should student athletes attend a four year college university or go straight to the Pros⁉️

In this segment we created a space for our young champs to express their unique opinions and view points during conversation; it’s a part of healthy and mature discourse. Learning how to navigate conversations, express yourself, listen attentively and respect others is imperative. In today’s digital age, the constant use of social media often forces us into high conflict encounters. Where we see views that are drastically different from our own. This segment focuses on transforming these moments into clean variations, where we can express ourselves with clarity, while maintaining professionalism, and emotional capacity to hold space for others 🫰🏾👏🏾🤞🏾💪🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🚦

“A DAY OF WELLNESS” EVENT MIDWOOD HIGH-SCHOOL RECAP 🐝
🚦🏆 💆🏾‍♂️ 💈 👨🏾‍🎓 🔥

Curated by yours truly 🚦
🎥 @etherepic

Thank you to everyone who participated in this event for our young champs this week, providing them with self confidence, a sense of encouragement, and overall relaxation. With the “A DAY OF WELLNESS” series, we aim to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and rejuvenated, as we highlighted the importance of a healthy lifestyle and “self care”. We also provided merch, SEL workshops, and a healthy source of food and refreshments. This event definitely helped with the youths’s overall mood, wellbeing, and knowledge of self. It’s important for these young men know that they are valued and appreciated. When you look good you feel good, and when you feel good, you have the positive mindset to do more good things in life. A big thank you to @cosmic_touch_llc @sharcuts and @gftd.cutzz for impacting these young men 💎 👏🏾🔥🔥🔥
They looked great and were extremely happy 🚦

STAY DRIVEN’S HBCU “EDUCATION EXCURSION TOUR” 🚦 👨🏾‍🎓 🏆 ✊🏾 🚎 🌍 🤞🏾🤞🏾🔥🔥

- On the behalf of the Driven Ones, we want to thank every parent who put their trust in us with their sons to be apart of this wonderful trip. We want to thank our schools for supporting us and assisting in any way possible. Thank you for the amazing students and leaders who provided us with a great college tour experience around the campuses, highlighting culture and black excellence. Thank you @drcarlosawalton for being a leader and mentor, providing expertise, wisdom, and guidance throughout this tour. Lastly, we want to give our flowers to our young champions. They deserve the opportunity to see more in life, be heard, and experience new places and opportunities. It’s important that they’re aware of all options, resources, and possibilities for their lives. A change of scenery as well as being able to see more than their zip code is vital ! Thank you for trusting your big bothers and representing “Driven One University” in a major way 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🚦👨🏾‍🎓 🔥🔥

Mood Board Discussion 🚦😊🥺 😡🫤🫰🏾🙌🏾🗣️

Get in tune with yourself. Express yourself. Respect how you feel ❗️

A poster board is presented in the room for everyone that walks in. They take a sticky note and marker to write down exactly how they are feeling at that moment. This is a very simple and engaging exercise for a group activity or yourself. You can utilize this exercise to start your day and end your night. You will begin to gain a snapshot of yourself on an everyday basis. Whether it’s been a rough day or a great day, you want to ensure that you acknowledge your exact mood/feelings in that moment. It’s very important that we learn to respect how we feel and begin to create healthy pattern flows for ourselves. You’ll be surprised how many other people connect to your thoughts and feelings.
