👣 Behind every Ethno, there are people who quietly dedicate themselves to creating a space where music, trust and human connection can flourish. And then, the magic begins.

♥️ Full of colours, smiles and love. People from different countries and musical backgrounds coming together to rehearse, learn and perform in such a short period of time.

🫂 Intense days where strangers suddenly become close friends, creating an orchestra from zero. An ephemeral musical family where different languages, traditions and life stories slowly find a common rhythm.

🎶 Ethno Denmark is all about beauty, happinness and sharing. Love for music, respect, curiosity, listening and endless creativity.

🌸 It's being who we want to be, no matter the differences or the weirdness inside of us, letting the deep soul to come out through sound and smiles.

💫 A group of people that will never be together again, in the same shape, geography or time. Just us, in the middle of Denmark, creating a magic bubble that will stay suspended in air forever.

♥️ Our hearts vibrating through time, landscapes and sounds. All nationalities and ages, genders and identities, united in the same celebration for music and love.

@ethnodenmark 2026 was such a transformative experience 🎶💗 Playing music 24/7 for 10 days, 4 concerts🎤, getting to know new lovely people from all around the world 🌍, going to bed at 4am and getting up at 8am☕, learning new tunes and dances from different countries💃🏼, jamming with fantastic musicians🎸, drinking crates of beer🍺, creating stories by the fireplace🐦‍🔥, singing on the party bus Cubusidus🚌, jumping in the cold Danish sea👙, visiting different Danish cities🇩🇰, learning how to pack sandwiches🥪, and tungluti tungluti lustedilei 🎉

Thank you everyone for making the 10 days truly unforgettable 😭, esp. the dream team @dasprabhatdas @bramvanweverberg @idahammarback @vedransavic @arijit_das89 @idamariejessen @ma1enes @maela_sanmartin 🥰! In just 10 days, a group of strangers became a big band of weirdos, jumped on a party bus(idus), and played global folk music across Denmark. I now sit on an airplane crossing the Atlantic with pieces of my heart scattered across the world, and memories that I will cherish forever. Thank you @ethnodenmark for reinvigorating my spirit, reminding me about the transformative power of music, and giving me the opportunity to learn. I’m humbled to have shared the stage with you all! We’ll likely never be all together again as a group, but I look forward to the day our paths cross again. Until then, BÅDSMANSHUS 4EVER ❤️

mellem 13-17 år, der elsker musik, dans og fortællinger fra hele verden 🌎

I løbet af stævnet kommer du til at møde folkemusikere fra forskellige dele af verden. Vi dykker ned i deres historier og musik. Kom med til 4 dage med dans, sang, spil, kreativitet og kulturelle fortællinger fra nær og fjern.

ETHNO YOUTH er et 4-dages sommerstævne for unge mellem 13-17 år, der elsker musik, dans og fortællinger fra hele verden.

I løbet af stævnet kommer du til at møde folkemusikere fra forskellige dele af verden. Vi dykker ned i deres historier og musik. Kom med til 4 dage med dans, sang, spil, kreativitet og kulturelle fortællinger fra nær og fjern.

På stævnet sidste dag slutter vi af med en koncert i Kulturhuset CulturArte, hvor forældre og andre publikummer er inviteret. Vi skal spille koncert sammen med Ethno Denmark – folkemusikere i alderen 18-30 år fra hele verden.

Hvis du allerede spiller et instrument, hjælper vi dig med at lære de nye melodier på dit instrument, på det niveau du er kommet til. Det vigtigste for at deltage er, at du har lyst til at være med. Vi spiller og lærer alt på gehør hele ugen. Dvs. man behøver ikke kunne læse noder for at være med.

PRAKTISK INFO
Undervisning og overnatning foregår på Køng Friskole, Fåborgvej 15, 5620 Glamsbjerg og på kulturhuset Culturarte fra tirsdag d. 7. juli kl. 10 til fredag d. 10. juli kl. 20.30.

Prisen er kr. 500 som dækker undervisning, forplejning og overnatning.

OBS: Det er muligt at søge om friplads ved tilmelding.

Frivillige forældre
For at få det bedste stævne har vi brug for frivillige forældre til at tage sig af opgaver med klargøring og oprydning omkring måltider og transport til koncerter. Vi håber, at nogle forældre til deltagerne har lyst til at have denne oplevelse sammen med os. Hvis du/I som forældre har lyst til at være frivillige, kan I skrive det i tilmeldingen.
