Happy 17th birthday @harrylong_ ❤️🥳👊🏻

I know we’ve only been mates for six months now, but wow you have been there for me and supported me throughout my journey. I’m now doing the same back to you because that’s what friends do and that’s how friendship works.

I feel so blessed to have known you and your whole family, your gym and your incredible community!

Here’s to many more years being your mate and hopefully we can both help each other out more by being there for one another.

Hope you had the best day with your family celebrating!

Lots of love bro and as always, you’re simply the best!!!!! 🐐❤️🫶🏻😎🥊🎉🍾🍻

Another successful gym session at @box2burn 👊🏻✔️

The last session I had I was sick in the toilets, I explained all of that on my stories. Everyone at the gym there was so understanding and didn’t even complain.

Since I started deciding on joining a gym I’ve always been scared about how people would treat me there. If I’m being completely honest, it’s a good thing for me to worry about that because a lot of the members there are not like me at all. Everyone is different.

There’s so much hate in this world at the moment people with autism and other additional needs. Not only I worry about people treating me differently at the gym, I worry about people doing the same thing if I get a job, if I go out anywhere in public, if I’m with my mates and more. I’m not writing this because I’m over worrying and overthinking. It’s just my honest POV.

Thankfully my trainer Harry and everyone at the gym are kind hearted, humble, compassionate and amazing people who have such bright futures ahead of them!

Harry made sure that nothing was too intense for me and overall the session went brilliantly! I did find it a bit too easy ngl, so I’ve decided next week I’m going to top it up a notch. I’m not being rude in anyway when I said I found it a bit too easy the session. It was my first circuit workout there so I think he was showing me what it will be like if I do more of them in the future.

I think the tapping thing I did at the end was called a reaction machine and my score was between 86 and 90 on my first few goes! I thought I was pretty good at it, watch out guys there might be a new champion pending 😏😉 #watchthespace

Thank you to Harry for making time to train me, for always having chats with me on WhatsApp and being an amazing young man like he has always been.

Until next weekend y’all!!! You’re all simply the best 🐐👊🏻❤️🥊

I truly think this photo deserves a spot on the grid!

It’s one of my all time favourite photos ever because it’s shows the true definition of kindness, inclusion and acceptance!

@box2burn you have my heart ❤️ I feel so grateful that almost the whole gym is following me and are all loving my content and journey.

I’ve been trying to join a gym for such a long time now and it’s starting to feel real. I’m starting to feel more comfortable, confident and grown up whenever I walk into the gym.

Even if I do have my lows I truly believe that everyone there will always have my back. This gym is not only to keep up my fitness levels but it honestly feels like a place who actually cares and accepts me. As well as my day centres, at B2B I’ve felt welcomed, accepted, included, appreciated, respected, loved, inspired, seen and heard from! 🥹

I’m definitely not alone and the same thing goes to everyone else.

So thank you to everyone from the bottom of my heart for making me feel like a member of the team, I really feel blessed and grateful and I’m hoping to help anyone else like they do with me.

Why, because kindness is free! The gym has been incredibly supportive of me and they deserve something in return! My support and love, showing up to events and being a good friend to everyone like they’ve been with me! That’s the person I am ❤️👊🏻

People like them lot deserve all of those things I said 🫶🏻

Lastly as always you’re all simply the best in your own ways 🐐🥊🤍🔥

Session number 6 at @box2burn ✅

I just honestly love coming down to this gym! So far I train twice a week, do one workout at home and another one at the gym which is my 1-1 boxing session every weekend.

In my opinion it was my best session by far. I said to Joe that when we started on the pads, I was going to start off slow and progressively get faster each round.

Last week, I cried after my session because it’s always very tiring after doing such a physical form of exercise and I had some emotions building up then, before we went home I took 30 minutes to calm down and everyone allowed that which made me and Dad feel very impressed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Billy’s son Billy Jr yesterday. We haven’t met in person until now, we’ve been chatting online for a few months and he’s always made time to chat with me. He’s also neurodivergent like me and recently Mum and I discovered his story about him becoming a pro boxer on the guardian news. It really made my and Mums day seeing that and that story has given me so much more hope for my future too.

His story is so inspiring that they’re now making a movie about called “Long Shot” which is hopefully coming out sometime next year. Mums obsessed with Tom Hardy and Billy’s hoping he’ll play him in the movie.

Long story short, thank you to Billy and his family for inspiring me, to the whole gym for making feel at home and to Joe for being an amazing 1-1 coach :)

Much love to everyone and good luck to Billy on the movie 🎥❤️🫶🏻🙌🏻🥰👊🏻👏🏻😎🐐🥊💙♾️

I first started my fitness journey when lockdown started and my Mum came across these daily workouts called PE with Joe! At first I wasn’t a fan and I found it very hard, as time went on I started getting better, more focused and used to it.

I did every single workout until it finished in July, that led me to losing two stone!

After PE with Joe finished, I continued to do fitness and started using weights. I even did my own live Instagram workouts called PE with Oliver. I wasn’t popular on Instagram at all so I barely got any views, but I continue to do it for six months! Thank you Joe for the inspiration 💙

I then took things a bit too far and I became obsessed with working out and I was determined to lose weight and gain muscle. I might’ve lost too much weight then 🫣

As the years went on, I’ve learnt how to train, lift weights, eat nutritional foods and that I should never regret a workout 🏋️‍♂️👊🏻❤️

I did take a big hiatus from fitness, since the beginning of the year I’ve been motivated to get back into it. I’m so proud of the progress I’ve made so far!

Joining @box2burn has been so much fun because I get to learn a type of exercise that I haven’t learnt in ages and just to do what people usually do it at gym, work out and make friends :)

It’s always so tiring afterwards because boxing is such a physical exercise. I’ve done five sessions already and I struggled a bit during Saturdays one because I kept on messing up the punches and I was throwing slower punches nearer the end.

I’m coming again this weekend and I’m still going to learn. Thank you to all the coaches and members who attend the gym for following my journey and for accepting me despite my additional needs without any hesitation

I’m so proud of how much I’ve improved, learnt and achieved over the past five years.

Hope my fitness journey gives you a bit of hope to keep on going too 🙏🏻🫶🏻💪🏻
