@grace.elliott15 is a collegiate softball player at @ettasoftball who underwent a hip labral repair with capsulorrhaphy in May after battling through a season of pain and attempting conservative treatment while at school.

She came to Prime for her post-operative hip rehab with one goal: get healthy, get strong, and get back on the field.

Our approach to hip rehabilitation goes beyond simply rebuilding strength. We focus first on restoring neuromuscular control of the deep core and hip stabilizers before progressing to strength and power development of the larger muscles surrounding the hip.

Throughout Grace’s rehab, we focused on:
🥎 Rebuilding deep core and hip stability
🥎 Improving neuromuscular control and body awareness
🥎 Restoring strength of the major hip muscle groups
🥎 Progressing strength into power and athletic movement
🥎 Preparing her hip for the demands of collegiate softball

This progression helps athletes develop better control of their movement while improving hip joint stability, strength, and confidence as they return to their sport.

Grace spent 4 months with us this summer, consistently progressing through each phase of her rehab. She is now preparing to return to Marietta College and get back on the diamond for the upcoming season!

We’re excited to watch all of her hard work pay off this year!
