An ode to 2025: the year where all the seeds I planted since 2016 bloomed.

instead of calling a year “good” or “bad”, I like to think of them as themes:

🤝Some years are fall apart years: where everything seems to fall apart & you have to trust it’ll make sense one day although you don’t see it yet (this was my 2022)

🤝Some years are survival years: where just getting through it is an accomplishment in itself (this was 2023)

🤝Some years are building years: where you’re planting a ton of seeds & often doubting yourself because you don’t yet reap the rewards (this was my 2024)

🤝And eventually you have a thriving year: where everything feels like it’s come together.

That was my 2025. my best year so far.. thanks to the detours, mess-ups, failures & heartbreaks I experienced in previous ones.

So i thank you for being here! Time to build some more, onto 2026 ❤️

A post for when you’re feeling anxious/stressy about not being able to workout or be in routine as usual while travelling 🤝

If you tend to put what exercise should “look like” in a very rigid box—and it leaves you thinking:
 “I can never keep it up”
 “I always just quit once I’m out of routine”...

Understand that:
 all movement “counts”

Everything I learned from hosting workout meet-ups on my USA trip👇(In NYC, Austin, and LA) 🇺🇸 LONDON UR NEXT!!

1️⃣ That I neeeed to make more in-person Capable classes / experiences!!

While I will always offer online classes (they’re just so accessible!), I definitely realised how much I love sharing the energy in person, seeing it in action, and meeting everyone.

When you work online, you can become a bit dissociated from the impact your work has. And as a company founder, staying connected to your impact is extremely important for motivation, enthusiasm, and drive

I’m actually thinking of giving classes at an in-person studio.. so Spain friends, stay tuned for that!

2️⃣ that no matter how many thousands (at this point) classes I’ve taught over the last decade.. I get nervous before each one

This isn’t a bad thing, and it doesn’t mean you’re unprepared! It means you care.

3️⃣ that I need to plan them & promote them waaaay in advance

I had lots of “I didn’t know you organised this, I’m sad I missed out” messages because I just didn’t promote them enough. Now I know for next time!

4️⃣ not to toot my own horn but.. I think I attract a really cool, kind & just awesome group of women.

People love to say social media is toxic but it’s all about how you use it. Grateful for the people it’s brought into my life!

5️⃣ that a set venue is better than outdoors

While I love the nature of outdoor workouts, the weather / park itself is unpredictable so I’ll book venues from now on.

6️⃣that i shouldn’t take no-shows personally. Things happen!

people will not show up without a heads up — and naturally it can make you doubt yourself (“I guess the experience isn’t special enough”) but in reality you don’t know what came up.

7️⃣ that I’m so damn motivated to keep showing up!!

Capable is still a baby. But I got such great feedback from attendees.

In each trip, I passed by many cool auditoriums, rooftops & big venues that looked amazing for a potential event and all I could think was “One day, I will fill them up”

So on that note.. let’s get to work!
