This year, I was blessed with the opportunity to not only meet, but bond with such an amazing and God fearing community. A year at camp filled with joyful celebrations, communal growth, and shared pains filled with tears. Such an abundant community was presented forth, filled with steadfast love and boundless enthusiasm for the Lord! From Wednesday-Sunday, you all became not only my friends, but also my dear brothers and sisters. Everyone at camp saved my life and held me with open, judgement free arms. Love you all, until next year; All glory to God!

Mission Arlington x DCCYC 2026

When You brought me to these missions and camps, I felt Your presence and love because I saw everyone around me serving and growing into mature believers of You. Can You show me Your glory and help me better understand You and Your love, God?

These past few weeks have been amazing. I’ve really enjoyed meeting so many new people face to face, but most importantly, meeting my Creator, Savior, and Lord face to face. Also being able to open up and lay down my shame, guilt, and iniquities and unveil my mask to God and my cabinmates/small group has been such an invigorating experience. I have learned so much in just the start of this summer, from understanding the importance of worship and meditating on God’s word and song lyrics to asking God the bolder prayer.

Remember, we are washed in the water and washed in the blood, and we are to radiate God’s image and glory onto others.
