“tear พราก 찢어지다” installation of objects with sound design. sound duration: 6.27 min. Borders are rarely just lines; they are lived zones of passage where the in-between becomes a tangible reality. In these spaces, everyday social and legal norms dissolve, forcing a life of constant negotiation on the periphery of political definitions. This installation dives into these fractures to explore the themes of separation and loss. Questioning the inherent power of the ‘imaginary line’—a construct capable of severing and stripping something away from its communities. Utilizing familiar everyday objects from Thailand and Korea, the work manifests the act of separation, reflecting a daily life that has been forcibly fragmented. Sound serves as a haunting trace of life, echoing through the space to evoke the presence of what has been displaced, taken, or left behind. ——— collaborators: @praeploy_pam and @nuejinn_ special thanks: @bameemamoo @fntrwan @huiscorner @nissy_sz @demniism @mmsaranran and miso cha

[ Ganggangsullae: Traces of a Circle ] This work started from Ganggangsullae, a Korean traditional circle dance, and explores how memory, connection, and a sense of community can move again through our bodies today. I was so happy to share this beautiful part of Korean culture with people from different backgrounds, holding hands and dancing together in one circle. This work could never have been made by me alone. I am truly thankful to everyone who was part of this journey, from the beginning of the process to the final performance, and helped complete this circle in their own way. Thank you for being part of this circle.🙏🏻🤍 ————— Credit Choreography&movement director | Dayeon Oh @dayeon_creative Movement Researcher & Performer | Dayeon Oh, Gabriella Gleichenia Gautama, Valeria Millan Barreiro, Izzy Mitchell, Laura Cecilia Castiblanco Moreno, Leok Mang Lei @dayeon_creative @gabi_thearenga @valeria_millan_b @_izzymitchelll @laura_c2m @ieokmang Art & Creative Direction | Youjin Kim @nuejinn_ Music Composition | Chaeeun Lee, Chaeeun Lee(和雲) @chaeeun.lee_composer Lighting Design | Youjin Kim, Dayeon Oh Photography by Woowill Park, @beccaa_hunt Content designed by Cheongkyung Jeong @carmeliit Special Thanks | Heni Hale, Hilary Stainsby and Production team 🙏🏻
