there’s truly no words to describe how much this project means to me. when me and ryn’s dear friend arthur asked us to make his band a music video i had no idea how much it would shape & refine my artistry, deepen my love for my community, & make me realize just how much two girls can get done when they believe & push each other. this video made me realize how much i truly love producing and how badly i want to do it over&over.

to my director & partner in crime @ratedlauryn: you are my calm. thank you for pushing me and sitting with me and believing i could do it. let’s do it again & again & again.

two music videos with one cohesive story, shot in 3 days in 3 locations, months of stress dreams & documents & spreadsheets, ryn listening to my crash outs & rambles, me listening to her big & beautifully creative ideas, our friends helping out just because they believed in us,,,this experience will be what i come back to for inspiration forever.

Performative male final boss: the men of Macbeth

Thank you @matttstorti for your vision, your artistry, your grace in the face of opposition, and your humor. This group of artists you brought together was a testament to how wonderful you are. I never expected to laugh so much while working on one of Shakespeare’s darkest pieces.

Real talk: let’s bring fresh takes to Shakespeare and other classics. Make it queer, make it interesting, make it accessible, make it Black, make it femme, make it not white, make it fun, make it drag, make it because you believe in it. Destroy the patriarchy and delight in the toxic masculinity.
