I was so thrilled to have some of plexiglass garments take a walk on the runway during @createcollaborateevents’s fashion show on Saturday, just before ArtPrize halftime! 🦋 In the line-up were three garments from my series “The Glass Between Us,” which I have exhibiting this year for ArtPrize — all made from reclaimed pandemic barrier shields. I also included two garments that didn’t make it into the exhibit, as well as earlier prototypes in acrylic from back when I still understanding how to make garments from this material.

Big thanks to @parker.korpak @eva_aaronn @sarahyangtian @itz.neek @a.s.h.o.n.t.e @q.uinnfrances for bringing these pieces to life on the runway at the GRAM! Absolutely impressed by your modeling prowess.

Golden light, lake air, and a little vintage magic on the coastal side of the state ✨

This one feels different — as I step into this rebrand, I wanted to show more of the artistic, creative side of who I am behind the camera. We spent the day among vintage boats and dreamy Michigan shoreline for this styled shoot in Saugatuck, and it felt like the perfect place to start telling that story.
