😂🤣🥹✨🫂🫶🏽🙌🏽💫🕺🏽

A short excerpt from the making of my newest work, “NO MORE WHISPERS,” commissioned by @liberian_gurrl & @brenauuniversity for @brenaudance!!!

Not only did we make magic, make memories, learn, and grow, but we had A LOT of fun and laughter while doing it.

JOY is an essential element of my creative process. I believe deeply in making rigorous work without sacrificing play, pleasure, laughter, and the joy of being together in the room.

Shout out to these brilliant young artist scholars for trusting me and journeying with me to create this work! 🫂

MORE SNIPPETS and a more comprehensive recap coming soon…

In the meantime, enjoy. And laugh a little. 😂🫶🏽

With Love,
Du’Bois
