The end of an era. Dance has brought a lot to our lives. I never thought that 13 years ago when I signed her up for class because she kept twirling around, we would be here today. My bank account sure is lighter but no money can replace the experience we had. She learned, she grew, she transformed. She experienced resilience, hard work, commitment, disappointments, pain and pure joy. She traveled the country and made lifelong friendships. One last competition next week and hopefully she’ll keep her tap shoes in her college closet just in case… 💃🏽🩰💖
