Evan Picciano is Up Next Powered by @kenkortrightagency

In the long history of Patchogue-Medford baseball, there’s never been an 8th grader to log as many games as Evan Picciano did this past season. Initially called up to play defense and throw a few innings, Picciano wound up playing 18 games, batting .327 with an .821 OPS, starting at SS and also logging 9 innings on the bump. For anyone that saw him the previous summer, it came as no surprise as Picciano was named to 9 PG All-Tournament teams. His father, Phil, is a 2001 graduate of Longwood HS and played college baseball at Briarcliffe College. Evan spoke to Axcess Baseball about the pressure of being the next big time prospect from Pat-Med, his goals for this offseason and much more. Full story coming today

@evan.picc 2029 pitched a No-Hitter while striking out 12 today for MVP 13u LI, picking up the 2-0 win! Unbelievable performance from a special talent. Excited to see this guy explode on the scene over the next few years!

I caught the first 45 minutes of Oregon MS vs Islip on 12/8. Great to see some of my son’s lacrosse teammates on the court!
