I fix my heart on heaven, where my hope comes from

Every breath is a byproduct of His mercy! It should’ve been me on that cross, yet it wasn’t.

“We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭

My heart is filled with so much gratitude right now. Who would’ve thought that a simple conversation on the 18th fairway at Pines Crossing would turn into the first ever Auburn Ryder Cup.

These are the moments in life I never want to take for granted, the gift of community and the friends the Lord has placed in my life. May I never lose sight of how special it is to spend time with good friends, surrounded by God’s creation, playing the wonderful game of golf.

It was an honor to serve as the Navy captain, and although it didn’t go our way in the end, I had the time of my life.

Until next time. 💙

🚨 THE FIRST EVER AUBURN RYDER CUP POWER RANKINGS ARE HERE. 🚨

After hours of film study, stat analysis, completely unbiased opinions, and absolutely zero overreactions… the committee has spoken.

Some players are celebrating.
Some are already texting excuses.
Some are just happy they weren’t last.

Some people will need to use these rankings as bulletin board material, and some will use as an excuse and crumble under the pressure.

Let us know your thoughts down below.

* Now introducing Evan “Fade Everything” Henderson.
* He’s from the block, aka Opelika.
* He is currently a Bison studying accounting, but plans to get his PhD in sacking around.
* His handicap is a 15.
* His personal best is an 85.
* Mr. Henderson has this unique ability to fade everything. He loves to fade all the hangouts for “sleep,” but he also loves to fade the golf ball.
* His weakness is definitely waking up. It reminds me of Luke Kwon from the Internet Invitational, as he might sleep through his tee time.
* The scouting report is solid. He was a member of the OPK varsity golf team, and he will be a valuable asset to whichever team he plays for. This is, of course, if he gets back into the game, seeing that he hasn’t played a round of golf in two years. Show Evan some love down below!
