Our actions and words create ripples into the ocean of experience for which we are all a part.

Take time to reflect on the moments that comprise your life for this is the best guage.

Well it's a Thoughtful Thursday here at the Lab and we can't think of anything that's more thoughtful than giving everyone some flowers to help them push through to sum and end this week hopefully a little bit brighter than it started.

So, here you go...here are some of my Zinnias and my good ol' Marigold patch that I always forget to mention but always shows up for me as a faithful yearly companion in effort.
But I'll get serious for a second and give three points of advice from the IPM battlefield..

1. Bio stimulate and deep water all your tissue be it lawn, shrub, or tree.
( Kelp, humate, fish eml, compost teas, low level organic stimulants, and 💦💦💦 )

2. You better be scouting hard for those pesky arachnids known as spider mites for they are feeding like mother effers right now on all heat stressed and damaged tissue
P.S all your advantageous feeding insects such as aphids, mealy bug and scale will be blowing up and praying on all the weakend structures that can no longer defend themselves.
All my turf monsters you best be hunting for your chinch bug and your tail end ( or nvr ending cycle of disease) and watch out where you have your die back and be sure you're going through and noting all your modifications and rebuilds come cooler temps...

3. Don't panic! Mother nature is delivering a sock it to me moment to all your plant tissue so the best you can do is to be a battlefield medic right now and make sure you maintain hydration and immunological stance as best as you can. Don't be a civil war surgeon and decide to prune in heat or decide that you need to water at the hottest point during the day and make soup out of your plants. Modify your behaviors and make sure you're dancing with mother nature's card and all will be well. Otherwise she is a capricious b**** and will spare you no quarter.

As always happy thoughtful Thursday and we will see you in the field to play...
