Still trying to find the words because I’m truly in awe. I can’t believe I’ve been given the opportunity to serve as Programming Coordinator for New Maroon Camp! Since I was just a camper, NMC has given me so many memories, friendships, and moments of growth! I genuinely cannot wait for this year and for all the amazing things to come!!💌

Applying for NMC was one of my best decisions I've made and it still keeps on giving. I'm so honored for the opportunity to serve as marketing coordinator for New Maroon Camp 2027 and feel so incredibly blessed to do it will all my favorite people. NMC helped me find myself and my family and I'm so excited to go into another year with this amazing organization! ❤️🐾

As I try to put into words how much New Maroon Camp truly means to me, one words continues to come to the forefront of my mind: thankful. Often times, college students struggle to find their place and sense of belonging, but New Maroon Camp has continuously reminded me that I am exactly where I belong. I cannot begin to express my thankfulness for this organization and the family it has provided me. I am extremely blessed to be the new Assistant Director of Communications, and I cannot wait for this year with the best team! NMC 27, you are already so loved! ❤️

NMC means so much to me!!! Words could never describe how full my heart is whenever I’m with all of the friends, new and old I have made through this organization.
Every single person in NMC, I see them as my family. When I came all the way to MS, I never thought I would fully feel at home at State, but because of my family, I feel so loved, so welcome, and so so seen.
Becoming a counselor and getting to do it all again, I got to see how much my former counselors poured into me. Being able to also serve in that role, I experienced so much joy watching State’s class of ‘30 make the same memories and form lasting friendships.
I am beyond thankful to all of the executives, my counselors Bella and Brice, special shoutout Evan the best co EVER and especially all of my Revielle fam for welcoming me, lifting me up when I really needed it, and I love love LOVE all of you!

What a blessing it is to pour into an organization that so graciously poured into me.

Last year, coming from out of state, I was terrified to come to a big SEC school four hours away from home, knowing nobody but my roommate. But New Maroon Camp believed in me. NMC showed me that I could make friends, do hard things, and put myself out there even when it felt scary. New Maroon Camp gave me a home away from home and loved me back so well. When I think about being involved and pouring into others, I’m always reminded of how important it is to have people pouring into you, too, so your cup doesn’t run empty. With NMC, my cup was never empty, rather it was constantly overflowing.

You have to find your people, and then you’ll find yourself. 💜

unfortunately, it’s time for me to hang up my brick shirt one last time :(( but what is retirement, without a retirement speech. thank you nmc for believing in me just as much as i believe in you and for filling my cup each time i walked into the doors of Taylor Auditorium. i never thought i’d be confident enough to put myself out there and make friends, let alone be a camp counselor for 3 years. because of nmc, i have learned so much about myself and i truly can’t find the words to describe how thankful i am for the opportunities this organization has given me. however, i’m going to try!! thank you nmc for giving me the best friends a person could EVER ask for. thank you nmc for showing me that being unapologetically myself, no matter how many dad jokes i make, will never deter the right people from getting to know you. thank you nmc for allowing me to grow and learn and pour all the love in my heart into this campus and these campers. you have genuinely changed the trajectory of my life, for the better. i love you nmc. cadets ‘23-‘24, rev ‘25-‘26 u will always be famous to me.
